Hanging On in 1st......

P. Francis:There's nothing like the feeling in the Pit of your stomach when your hanging on to 1st Place in a league that really matters to you late in the season after the trading deadline. I've finally regained 1st place in my experts league after spending most of the season at the top only to be bumped down a peg or two after the dreaded injury bug struck my squad in January. Iginla and Spezza just to name a few ulcer inducing injuries.
I've learned over the years that's a place an emotion induced trade or the allure of over playing a position in a ROTO League can cost you a Championship. A disciplined application of the plan formatted in the pre-season and twicked during the course of action is the remedy. Remember, Patience and trusting your picks is your best asset during this trying times. Hang in there and avoid stupid moves but if the situation calls for a Bold trade find a partner and pull the trigger. I just traded Andre Markov and Chris Neal (PIM) for a player who can add some Goals down the stretch (Glen Murray).
